The Windfield Farm is located within Atchison County, in northwest Missouri, approximately 70 miles south of Omaha and 80 miles north of Kansas City. The farm is an upland farm located 13 miles east of the Missouri River. The farm is bordered by State Highway EE to the west, 290th Street to the south and neighboring farmland to the north and east. Soils are primarily Marshall and Shelby. The farm is part of the Rock Creek Wind Project.
