The HEG Farm is located within Atchison County, in northwest Missouri, approximately 50 miles south of Omaha and 100 miles north of Kansas City. The farm is a bottomland farm located 5 miles east of the Missouri River. The farm is bordered by Highway 275 to the north and neighboring farmland to the east, west and south (Interstate 29 borders the southwest corner of the farm). The farm consists of 104 farm acres of which 94 are crop acres. Soils are primarily Dockery and Napier silt loams.
