The Fischer Farm is located within Pettis County, in west-central Missouri, approximately 50 miles southeast of Kansas City. The farm is an upland farm located 30 miles south of the Missouri River. The farm is bordered by State Highway 50 to the north, Route 127 to the east, Crystal Springs Road to the south and neighboring farmland to the west. The farm consists of 287 farm acres of which 265 are crop acres. Soils include Arisburg and Greenton silt loams.
