The Fenley Farm is located within Atchison and Doniphan Counties, in northeast Kansas, approximately 40 miles northwest of Kansas City. The farm is a bottomland farm located 1 mile west of the Missouri River. The farm is bordered by River Road to the east, neighboring farmland to the south and Independence Creek to the north and west. The farm consists of 374 farm acres of which 368 are crop acres. Approximately 100 acres are irrigated by a center pivot on the north tract. Soils are primarily Haynie silt loam.
