The Andersen Farm is located within Holt County, in northwest Missouri, approximately 70 miles north of Kansas City and 80 miles south of Omaha. The farm is an upland farm located 15 miles east of the Missouri River. The farm is bordered by State Route DD to the west, Atchison/Holt County Road to the north, Omaha Road to the east and neighboring farmland to the south. The farm consists of 319 farm acres of which 262 are crop acres. Soils are primarily Marshall, Shelby and Exira.
